Looking Within

We are in such a hurry, so determined to find time for the infinite set of tasks that are outlined for us. It seems to us that all these matters are important, and we must urgently try to get them done. Today. Now.

But first… Before you start – or while you are doing them. First… take a deep breath. Just one. And one more. Breathe in, deep…

And find within you, within the breath in your lungs, a little time. Just a small pause. Just … breathing…
Quietly…
Comfortably…
Breathing…

And as you sit there, close your eyes. Let your thoughts recede, move aside. And in their place, you will see, with your inner gaze, an amazing image…

Lost island (Verlorene Insel)

Looking within, inside ourselves, we will see what supports us: our Foundation. We will discover that, which irrigates the seeds of our aspirations: life-giving Water. And most importantly: there is an ever-burning candle, a Light within us, which is Love and Inspiration, illuminating our entire being!

And then the blue of the sky of our Dreams will open to us in all its glory!

… Only … here are two worlds, reflected and real, so similar to each other. How do we catch the difference between them?
Patience, you just need to take a closer look, and then we will notice …

After all, even a light breath of the winds of fate causes vibrations on the water. And in the reflected world, the image is distorted…

A Witness to Māyā - MM - Theme-Four Elements

May our life be filled with everything Real and Truly Beautiful! And reflections remain for us only what they are: an illusory image of reality.

May the heavens shine ☀️
Dreams of wonderful inspiration
The soul in harmony will chime 💖
Love, peace and revelation!

    1. My dear friend, your gripping, emotional and beautiful comment made me very happy!! 🙂 🙂 And I believe that all artists are bound together by the art they share, and in their fundamental worldview – for they must feel the beating heart of the World and the beauty of its soul, in order to reflect that inspiration in their work… Or at least, that is how I feel it 🙂 🙂 🙂
Have a wonderful week, my friend, and may the beauty of the World reflect like rays of sunshine in your life! 🙂 🙂

  2. I so enjoyed this and you made me take those few deep breaths and “take a pause,” (a very norwegian thing to say), when I probably would have just keep reading and typing. Thank you. ❤
My vision was one not dissimilar to your image, a small Scandinavian island sprinkled with pine and birch trees, set in a fjord surrounded by snow capped mountains. A little red cabin with white trim, that has a covered verandah, from which I can see the fjord, the smell of a Scandinavian spring in the air, and a cool, gentle breeze caressingmy cheeks, as I sipped a warm cup of tea and relaxed looking out at nature in its glory. Thanks for inspiring that, Elena. We all could do with more pauses!

    1. Such a beautiful meditation, dear Amanda! And I will happily join you in that delightful visualisation – for Norway is a country which I love deep in my heart! I have even been there, you know, in that place you describe – the small (brown) cabin at the edge of the (lake) surrounded by snow-capped mountains… I have been there – and a part of me never left. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Have an inspiring week, dear Amanda! Full of joy and happy memories! 🙂 🙂

      1. It makes me so happy that you know that place too, Elena. I forgot to add one pretty ingredient – add to the scene a cool morning mist lingering lovingly over the water!! Heavenly.
Håper du har det bra denne uke.

    1. I am very touched, dear Deeksha! And please don’t apologize, for it is so important to me that our relationship is relaxed – and that we do not feel that we necessarily have to answer at once each and every time we write together. I pray that everything will be fine with you and your close ones!

I just spoke with one of my friends. She told me that my “Flower Whispers” really lifted her spirit, so I thought to share it with you. 🙂

Wishing you all best, my friend! And a beautiful, relaxed, and most successful week❣️ ☀️ 🥰

  4. Looking from within, we open up to everything that is going on inside our body and mind.
As we begin to open, we will begin to observe all phenomena from a basis of clearer wisdom rather than from our conditioned and habitual ideas.

    1. Dear Mao, thank you 🙂
      – for many things, some of which I am sure you know, others I believe you feel. 🙂
In particular for that line, which I find I greatly treasure: “we will begin to observe all phenomena…”
Yes, indeed. Beginnings are such delicate times!
